The Future of Celebration: Inside Warner Music Group's Futuristic Pre-Grammy Bash at Our Sunset Boulevard Venue

On Thursday, January 29, the iconic former Amoeba Music record store on Sunset Boulevard—one of Buttercup Venues' premier properties, Event Venue 23—was reborn. For one night, Warner Music Group, in partnership with AI robotics leader 1X and the tastemaking V Magazine, transformed the legendary space into a sleek, immersive playground for its annual Pre-Grammy Awards Party, as detailed by Press Pass LA. The event was a bold statement on the future of entertainment, bringing together the industry's most influential artists, executives, and cultural leaders for a glimpse into what's next.

From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this was no ordinary celebration. Attendees were welcomed by NEO humanoid robots, the world's first consumer-ready home robots developed by 1X. These were not static displays; the robots served Johnnie Walker Black Label cocktails, poured glasses of Avaline Wine, danced with partygoers, and posed for photos, offering a tangible look at the integration of technology and hospitality.

Inside, our versatile venue was reimagined as a futuristic disco dreamscape. The space was bathed in a navy blue and silver palette, with projections of space-age patterns and mythic architecture dancing across the walls. In a striking symbol of artistic ascent and reinvention, a massive silver Pegasus was suspended over the dance floor in place of a traditional mirror ball.

The soundtrack for this robotic rager was just as forward-thinking. The night featured standout performances from two-time Grammy nominee PinkPantheress, rising global artist Noga Erez, and Warner Records signee Remy Bond, who performed her viral single "Summer Song". The electric atmosphere was further amplified by a late-night set from Rocco Ritchie.

The futuristic event drew a high-profile crowd from the intersecting worlds of music, fashion, and entertainment, including Benson Boone, Cara Delevingne, Darren Criss, Gunna, Marion Cotillard, Rufus Wainwright, and Diane Warren, among many others .

At Buttercup Venues, we pride ourselves on providing the canvas for the world's most innovative brands and creators. The Warner Music Group Pre-Grammy party was a masterclass in experiential event production, perfectly blending cutting-edge technology with high-energy entertainment. It showcased how a historic space can be completely transformed to host a forward-looking, unforgettable brand moment. We were honored to provide the stage for a night that truly felt like a party from the future.
