Management Overview
In preparation for the first production at a property, Buttercup Venues collaborates closely with property owners to establish standard policies and procedures for filming. These guidelines are incorporated into the Location Filming Agreement used for each production.
Buttercup Venues screens all productions interested in the property, considering factors such as budget, requested areas of use, and anticipated production dates. If the proposal meets the property owner's approval, we will conduct an initial site scout, followed by additional scouts as needed (e.g., for the Director or Technical team).
We also facilitate the negotiation of the Location Filming Agreement between the property owner and the production company. Our services include obtaining proof of proper insurance coverage, collecting all licensing fees, and remitting them to the property owner, along with managing security deposits.
To ensure a smooth production process, Buttercup Venues provides an experienced site representative who will oversee the production from load-in to wrap, fostering a positive working relationship between the production team and property staff.
Once filming concludes, we handle the close-out process, including determining any final costs due before returning the security deposit to the production company.

Bruce brings a deep production network and trusted industry relationships to every property listed.

Temple University-trained civil engineer and experienced production specialist with a background in large-scale set operations. His credits include Modern Family, Snowfall, and numerous commercial shoots across LA.
