The Experience Behind the Portfolio
Our leadership team possesses a rare combination of creative vision and logistical expertise, built over decades at the highest levels of the production and event industries. We don't just list properties; we understand them from the perspective of a director, a producer, and a brand manager, ensuring every location is vetted for both its cinematic potential and its practical viability.
Bruce Kramer / Founder
Bruce's career is defined by understanding the intersection of creative vision and logistical execution. He founded and scaled a multi-city production company with 12 state-of-the-art studios, while simultaneously running a premier artist agency that managed over 75 top-tier talents. His agency was the force behind iconic projects like the original iPod campaigns, Eminem album covers, and Mission: Impossible movie posters.
This deep, first-hand knowledge of what high-level productions and brands actually need is the foundation of Buttercup Venues. Bruce curates properties not just for their aesthetic, but for their ability to solve the complex logistical challenges inherent in any major production or activation.
Marc Royce / Partner
A protégé of the legendary Richard Avedon, Marc brings a world-class photographic eye to the team. His celebrated career, with work featured in Vogue, The New Yorker, and The New York Times Magazine, has seen him capture global icons from President Obama to Steven Spielberg.
As a partner, Marc's expertise is a strategic asset. He ensures every property is captured not just accurately, but cinematically, allowing directors and producers to see a location's true potential before they ever step on site. His vision is critical to translating a physical space into a compelling, camera-ready backdrop.
Samuel Hall / Properties Manager
Samuel brings critical, on-the-ground production experience to every project. As a 2nd Assistant Director on major network shows like Snowfall, Modern Family, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, he has lived the daily realities of a working set. He intimately understands the language of production—the logistical challenges, the crew's needs, and the art of on-site problem-solving.
This practical experience, combined with his background in civil engineering, makes him the essential operational core of Buttercup Venues. Samuel is the logistical bridge between a great location and a seamless shoot, ensuring every project runs efficiently from prep to wrap.
