THE RIGHT VENUE FOR THE RIGHT BRAND
Frequently
Asked Questions
We work closely with film and photo producers, event teams, and brand coordinators from around the world. Here are quick answers on how we work and what to expect.
How we work
-
Not exactly. We're not a booking platform, we're a location service. You tell us what you're looking for, and we curate a shortlist of unique LA venues that match your brief.
-
We're boutique, curated, and highly selective. You will be in contact with the owners, Bruce and Marc. You won't find hundreds of listings to scroll through — we cut through the noise and send you only what fits your needs. No fillers, just spaces that stand out.
-
Send us your brief and we'll do our best to match you with available venues that meet your timeline. While we can't guarantee short notice bookings, we'll always try to help where we can.
-
We specialize in high-end commercial productions, film shoots, photoshoots, and large-scale private events. If you have a unique vision for a project or celebration, just let us know — our curated venues are designed to make your event stand out.
-
We specialize in high-end commercial productions and large-scale events. Unfortunately, we're not set up to accommodate student films or school projects at this time.
-
Absolutely. Once you've narrowed down your options, we'll coordinate site visits so you can see the spaces in person and ensure they're the perfect fit for your project or event.
-
The more details, the better. Let us know the type of event or production, desired location, style or aesthetic, budget, date(s), and any must-have features. This helps us hand-pick spaces that truly fit your needs.
Fees & pricing
-
Venue rates are customized and vary by project. The exact cost for each booking depends on:
Nature of the event — brand activations, immersive experiences, pop ups, TV & film, or photo.
The specific property — each venue sets its own rates based on style, amenities, and exclusivity.
Duration of the project — longer events or multi-day shoots may result in a reduced rate.
Number of attendees — larger guest counts affect pricing through wear and special requirements.
Impact on the property — areas used, amount of cast and crew, and/or number of attendees.
Time of year — peak seasons and high-demand dates may be priced at a premium.
Parking needs — extensive parking or valet services may influence the overall cost.
Vacant or occupied — a property that is an active business may require a buyout.
We always communicate all fees clearly before you make a commitment, so there are no surprises. If you have a budget in mind, let us know — we'll do our best to match you with venues that fit.
-
Beyond the base location or venue fee, other costs may apply depending on the scope of your project:
Building engineer
Day & overnight security
Dumpsters & waste management
Electric tie-in & labor
Equipment rentals
Exterior signage
High-speed internet
Hold days
Multiple site visits
Parking & valet
Pre-event cleaning & day porters
Prep, post, prelight or rehearsal days
Property management fees
Site representative fees
TBD parking arrangements
All additional fees are communicated during planning. If you have specific requirements, let us know and we'll provide a detailed estimate tailored to your project.
Booking & confirmation
-
Signed license agreement — in almost all cases we use our own agreement, which must be reviewed and signed.
Copy of permit — where the project or event requires one for the property.
Certificate of insurance — naming the property as additionally insured for the duration of your project. For events, COIs are required for all vendors working at the property, and if liquor is served we also need a copy of the liquor license.
Payment of all fees — location fees, additional costs, and the security deposit paid in full no less than 3 days before your production starts.
Payment method — ACH transfer preferred. Credit cards are accepted with a 3.5% fee. We do not accept checks.
Security deposit — after your project wraps we conduct a final walk-through. Provided there are no damages, overtime, or required repairs, the deposit is returned within 7–10 business days, minus any applicable deductions.
